World Cup: Uruguay vs. Russia & Saudi Arabia vs. Egypt






The last two games of pool play are always played simultaneously. This is done to prevent match fixing - know the exact result you need to advance can lead to a situation where a single result benefits both teams, just like happened here.

So the games are played at the same time, which is fun because then we can track the odds of each team advancing from group play in real time.

This pool is dumb though, we already know which teams (URU, RUS) are advancing and which teams (KSA, EGY) are not.
